Autodesk Inventor 2018.3.1 Update
Autodesk Inc., has released an update to Inventor 2018. This update fixed problems reported through the customer error reporting utility.
What's New for Inventor 2018.3.1:
As a result of the detailed information that we received from customers who used the Customer Error Reporting Utility, we were able to identify and fix several defects with the following results:
Assembly - Mirror/Copy/Replace
- Improved stability when mirroring part in assembly. (INVGEN-16506)
Drawing
- Improved stability when working with the Design Doctor in a drawing. (INVGEN-15086)
Parts - 2D Sketch
- Improved stability when creating a pattern. (INVGEN-13957)
Parts - Derive
- Improved stability with updating derived part. (INVGEN-15860)
- Improved stability with 3D printing. (INVGEN-15087)
Platform - Graphics
- Improved stability with large assembly graphics. (INVGEN-15127)
Presentations
- Improved stability with presentation files. (INVGEN-14844)
Applying Updates: As the Inventor Updates are cummulativ, the Inventor Update install process will silently uninstall perviously installed updates back to the set prerequisite for the current update being installed. Note that in the event that current update needs to be uninstalled then previously installed updates should be automatically reinstalled as required. In the event that the previous updates are not automatically restored, they will need to be manually reinstalled.
Inventor Updates can be applied to Inventor installed as a standalone application or installed as part of a Suite or Collection. You can apply this Update on:
- Inventor 2018
- Inventor Professional 2018
After applying this Update, the product build in the About Box will be listed as Build:280 Inventor 2018.3.1 Update.
